Key Responsibilities:1. Campaign Development and Execution
- Awareness Campaigns: Develop and launch campaigns that raise awareness of emergency food access needs, educate the public on community preparedness, and highlight our ongoing services and initiatives.
- Mission-Focused Content: Design materials that effectively communicate our mission and impact, tailored to reach both community members and potential donors.
- Special Events and Initiatives: Support the promotion of specific events, fundraisers, or community outreach programs that connect more people with our resources and mission.
- Messaging and Outreach: Create impactful messages that resonate with various audiences, including individuals facing food insecurity, local supporters, and donors.
- Audience Engagement: Manage and respond to inquiries, comments, and engagement generated through our campaigns, fostering a positive and supportive community presence.
- Local Partnerships: Help identify and connect with community organizations, local businesses, and influencers who align with our mission and can expand our reach.
- Content Planning: Develop a content calendar to keep our community informed and engaged consistently, aligning with key awareness dates, seasonal needs, and relevant community events.
- Social Media Coordination: Collaborate with the Social Media Team to share campaign materials across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), ensuring consistency and reach.
- Email Outreach: Assist with creating compelling content for newsletters and donor updates, keeping our supporters informed of our progress and impact.
- Donor Communication: Work closely with the fundraising team to create donor-specific campaigns that highlight the impact of their contributions.
- Impact Stories: Share real stories from the individuals and families we serve, giving life to the challenges and successes that drive our mission.
- Campaign Performance Analysis: Track engagement and effectiveness of each campaign, using insights to improve and refine future efforts.
- Donor Engagement Metrics: Assess how well our campaigns resonate with donors and supporters, adjusting strategies to increase engagement and retention.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Passionate about increasing community resilience, particularly through food access and emergency preparedness.
- Creative and Engaging with strong skills in messaging, storytelling, and public communication.
- Experienced in campaign development, outreach, or community engagement, ideally in a nonprofit or volunteer-driven setting.
- Organized and Proactive in managing tasks and meeting deadlines independently, while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Responsive and Adaptive to evolving community needs and able to use feedback to improve content and outreach approaches.
